Former Florida receiver Tamorion Terry has been charged with murder in connection with a shooting in Georgia last week.
Terry is one of 11 people charged in the death of 21-year-old Za’Quavia Smith, who was shot dead on the night of June 30, 2018, at the Studio 2.0 nightclub in Ashburn, Georgia. A total of seven people were shot. at the scene.
Until last week’s indictment, only one person – Yontawi Kuli – was arrested on charges of aggravated murder for the incident.

At the time of the shooting, Terry was entering his first new season on the Florida State football team. As a Seminole in three seasons, he has 18 tackles and 2,221 receptions, including 1,188 receptions during the 2019 season, the second highest in the ACC.
The 2020 season turned Terry’s reserves into a torpedo and the 23-year-old was not called up. He signed a free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks in May, only to resign on June 30 due to injury.
