People in West Lm Beach, Florida, are still welcome New Yorkers, despite the fact that cars with “wake-up calls” and “should be away from Florida” leaflets are installed.

“I think people should be greeted rather than ignored and told they can’t come here,” Landra, who lives in Florida, told Acesparks that her brother lives in New York. “Everyone should be welcomed everywhere if they don’t hurt anyone.”

Lm Beach police along Lake Worth Lagoon confirmed to Acesparks that they had checked leaflets affixed to cars with New York license plates on a wealthy island that said, “If you’re one of those ‘awakened’ people — Florida leave. You’ll be happier elsewhere, and so will we. “

It was unknown who published the flyers.

LM BEACH POLICE RELEASE FLIERS WHO TELL NEW YORKERS “WAKE UP” FLIERS “DESTROY IN FLORI”

“Free speech, first correction,” said Debbie, a Florida native who recently moved from New Jersey. “They’re not violent, not physically. They’re rightly pointing out in their First Amendment, and we don’t want them here, we’re never going to change that.”

Claudette, who visited Connecticut from Florida, told Acesparks: “It’s stupid because waking up means you’re current, aware, and sensitive. So when someone has a problem being aware of a problem, it’s pure ignorance.”

Claudette speaks to Fox News.

Gregory of Florida says he doesn’t think the flyers were posted by anyone from Florida.

“Our governor, [Ron] DeSantis, we love it, a lot of people don’t like it, ”Gregory said.

Susie from New York is talking to Fox News.

Susie, who visited Florida from New York City, disagreed.

“Your governor is stupid, that’s number one,” Susie said, pointing to DeSantis. “The second number, I think, is that this awakened thing went too far, on the other side of this book.”

“So I think people should just let people in,” he continued. “We need to talk to each other more, we need to listen to each other more, and maybe this country won’t be as terrible as it is now.”

Acesparks correspondent Stephen Sorace contributed to this report.
