Ota Jon Misti has announced the details of a special orchestra live show in London to support his upcoming new album.
Singer / songwriter’s new record “Chloë and the Next 20th Century” will go on sale on April 8th. and was seen earlier today (January 5) with the single Funny Girl..
Misty (real name Josh Tillman) will perform a pair of live performances by a special orchestra in support of Chloë and the 20th Century in 2022, one of which will take place on April 7 at the Barbican Hall in London.
The musician will perform with Barbican Barbican Associate Ensemble Britten Sinfonia and conductor Jules Buckley. Tickets will go on sale to Barbican sponsors and members today, Friday (January 7th) before the general sale begins.

Misty will also give an orchestral concert on February 25 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, backed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Ticket details for this show can be found here.
The release of Chloë and the Next 20th Century in April also includes a limited-edition luxury edition of the record, which will be featured in a hardcover book and a bonus 7 single.
Someone royal juniOn the cover of the album track “Buddy’s Rendezvous” and on the other is a version of Jack Cruise’s “Kiss Me (I Loved You)”.
The next record is the release of Father John Misty’s first studio album since 2018. “God’s favorite customer”.
