Peoria, Ill – Suddenly, a startled Dae’nika Lowy Had Dozens of Secret Fans.

The 20-year-old’s phone was buzzing with messages and calls from unfamiliar numbers. Men stopped in front of her house, some knocked on her door.

He didn’t answer it. He didn’t ask for any attention.

Rather, it was established. Without her permission or knowledge, Lowy’s photo and personal information were posted on an escort-service website, which police say has been used for prostitution in other cities.

It explains all calls, texts and knocks. These strangers wanted to know if he was available for business.

Who did this to Lori? Peoria Police is investigating. But he believes it was the sordid act of a jealous rival.

“This stuff is just scary,” he told the Journal Star, which, like USA Today, is part of the USA Today Network.

Lowy lives with her boyfriend in Central Peoria. The unwanted attention began the second week in June, as she was suddenly slammed on her phone with over 50 calls. The messages were varied. Tamer texts include, “Are You Available?” and “How much for your services, Chinese?”

Lori fainted. But her boyfriend had heard about the Skip the Games website.

The site says, “Skip the game. Get satisfaction.” It cites “top maintenance cities” and urges visitors to “find and meet service providers anywhere”.

Including Peoria. There are clickable preferences, including men or women. Each category will bring up multiple photos.

Provide some simple smiles. Others offer provocative poses. Many offer little to the imagination.
