The National Football League ended the first week of the 2021 season, with an average of 15.29 million viewers on ESPN channels, including the ABC network, for Monday night’s football opening between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Raiders beat the Ravens 33-21 and ended the 1st week with a few turns. The number of spectators increased by 42% compared to last year’s game, and Baltimore, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Kansas City, and San Diego.

The MNF-2020 contest between the New York giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers attracted an average of 10.76 million viewers. On Monday, ESPN also unveiled the MegaCast alternative debut, which provides commentary for the Raiders-Ravens game on Peyton and Eli Manning’s own ESPN2 channel. The TV show attracted 800,000 viewers. The Manning brothers have signed a three-year deal with Disney-owned ESPN, in which the pair offer their thoughts on the NFL season and the breakdown in the game.

It was the most-watched national game on CBS since its 2015 opening match between the Ravens and the Acesparks Broncos (23.28 million viewers). There were no Fox Sports NFL spectators on Tuesday afternoon.

The NFL began its 102nd season last Thursday with an average of 26 million spectators at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys competition. According to NBC, the game aired on television with 25.4 million viewers from 21:45 to 22:00 ET. The opening of 2021 showed a 20% increase in the number of spectators attended by NFL bosses and bosses last year.
