For the past 15 weeks, Sheeran has been number one in the UK, primarily as a single “Bad habits” and soon his latest track “Shivers”.

“It’s going to be his number one opponent in 20 years, and I really want that to happen.”

Sheeran added: “Please buy / stream / download“ Cold Heart ”with Duo Lipa now. Week 15 of Week 1 was more than I expected, I love you all.

“Who doesn’t want to knock down Elton?”

Jon, who recently set a record on new UK charts “Cold Heart” is ready to reunite with Sheeran once he enters the top ten together for a Christmas single this year.

“Elton called me on Christmas. Elton calls me almost every day,” Sheeran told Dutch radio. NPO Radio 2 earlier this month. “He said, ‘Step into Christmas’ is sixth on the table! I want to play another Christmas song – will you do it with me?’

About what to expect from the song, Sheeran said: “It’s just me and him. It’s great.”
