Don Meij has prepared a lot of dough for the latest addition to his real estate portfolio.
Domino’s Pizza CEO spent more than $ 20.9 million on the 17,200-square-foot mansion at Bel Air.
Built in 2015, the property consists of eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms and is located on more than half an acre.
The Italian-style villa features views of the Stone Canyon Reservoir.
After entering through two doors, there is a spacious formal living room, a dining room and a raised foyer made of decorative stone and wood that leads to a wood-paneled office. According to the list, all three rooms have French doors that open to outdoor terraces and a view of the reservoir.
Features include a gourmet kitchen, a foam house with a ceiling, an elevator, surrounded by smart home technology.
The master bedroom is described as “spa-like” and includes two bathrooms and a closet, with an open balcony overlooking the city.
Downstairs amenities include a spa decorated with an indoor pool and stained glass, a home theater, a billiard room, and a climate-controlled wine cellar.
It also comes with an underground garage to store multiple cars.
The area has several patios, manicured lawns, an outdoor kitchen and an endless pool.
Jib O’Reilly from Aaron Kirman and Compass is on the list.
Meanwhile, 52-year-old Meij recently sold her mountain home in Aspen for $ 10.3 million, which she bought in 2013 for about $ 3.4 million.
Meij, an Australian, began her pizza journey in 1987 as a pizza delivery driver in Redcliff, Queensland. His love of business took him to the top.
He has held various management positions at Silvio’s Dial-a-Pizza and Domino’s Pizza. He later owned 17 Domino’s stores and sold them to the company in 2001.
In May 2005, Meij Domino’s became the first publicly listed pizza chain in Australia on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). He is currently the CEO and Managing Director of Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Group.
Last month, Domino’s reported a decline in sales in the U.S. for the first time in more than a decade.
