UFC welterweight contender Darren Till has accused Chad Mendes and TJ Dillashov of taking steroids.
Till tweeted the following:
“Chad Mendes, who is making a comeback, is very good, but how much does it cost? Less or less than TJ …”
Darren Till said former UFC welterweight Chad Mendes has been making fun of his return to MMA and UFC lately. While Mendes ’return is great, it’s until he wonders how much steroid the 36-year-old is dealing with.
Darren Till used needle emojis to talk about steroids, and Chad Mendes asked if Mendes would be on more or less steroids than his former Team Alpha Male teammate TJ Dillashaw.
Till is believed to have made these allegations because he was previously suspended for drug tests because of Mendes and Dillashaw.
In June 2016, Mendes was flagged by USADA for possible violations. He claimed that his failure to try the drug was due to a local cream he used to treat psoriasis. However, in July 2016, it was revealed that Mendes had a positive effect on GHRP-6, a stimulant of growth hormone release. He was given a two-year disqualification. Upon his return, Mendes competed twice in 2018 before announcing his retirement from MMA.
Meanwhile, TJ Dillashaw showed a positive result for the EPO in his pre-fight and post-fight drug tests against the UFC’s flying weightlifting champion fight against Henry Sejudo at UFC Fight Night 143 in 2019. MMA Tournament. His disqualification ended earlier this year.
