Damon Albarn shared a new solo track – listen to “Montevideo Tower” below.
This is the last view of the song Blurring and Gorillaz the singer’s second solo album “The closer the spring is, the cleaner the stream”, which is scheduled to land via Transgressive on November 12th.
The new song is inspired by Albarn’s love of South America and is named after Palacio Salvo, a 1920s building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.
In addition to the new track, Albarn also shared a live performance video as part of his Sublime Bulvards – Performance Films series.

This is the fourth track after “closer to the fountain, stream of streams”. title track, “Poles”, “Particles” and “Royal Morning Blue” – all of which also received performance videos as well as their own performances.
The full album is due out next month, which marks Albarn’s first release on Transgressive signing the sign in June.
“I felt like the beginning of the same year was very terrible and I had to do something to save myself. ‘zida,’ he explained.
Albarn performed a “spectral, minimalist showcase” of his new album The End of the Road Festival with last month commentator Jordan Bassett praised his collection, “reaffirm[ing] how incredibly innovative he has been since the beginning of Britpop. ”
