Yesterday it was reported that Corey Graves was able to compete by WWE. Fans quickly speculated that Graves would return for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event. There were a lot of expectations from all corners of the wrestling world.

Graves was forced to retire in 2014 after experiencing symptoms following a concussion. Graves reportedly received permission for physical contact in 2020.

This week Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave more details about the situation. While Graves was able to complete the championship corner 24/7, it is unlikely he will return to full-time competition in the ring.

“Corey Graves was cleared by WWE doctors in 2020. The main thing is that WWE Medicine ruled out any physical contact with Graves in 2014 due to a problem after a brain concussion, and he retired at the time.

He was then appointed NXT announcer and he was considered the main color guy on the main list for many years. Obviously, he may return to the fight, but he will not return.

Corey Graves is so close to returning to WWE as a fighter. Based on this report, this will not happen any time soon. That doesn’t stop the wild rumors about Corey Graves ’future.
