Conor McGregor is back to tweeting again and deleting offensive comments.
After Dustin said the same tasteless words to Puire’s family, this time too, the wounded warrior targeted his latest brand, “spotless talk,” against the other warrior who ruled over him. McGregor made insulting remarks to Khabib Nurmagomedov, his wife, his manager, and even his compatriots before deleting the tweets shortly after.
MMA mani there are screenshots, McGregor calling Habib a “fragrant offspring” with his “cousin’s wife.”
McGregor has previously made indifferent remarks about Islamophobic remarks about Habib’s dead father and his wife. These recent insults prompted the Dagestani manager to respond, then McGregor decided to attack him: “I hate you. When you die, I’ll celebrate.”
McGregor’s tirad didn’t end there. He even directed vitriol to a casual female fan, which led to the Irishman’s previous allegations and investigations of rape and sexual assault.
Some tried to justify McGregor’s behavior as “selling fights,” while others speculated that anger and disorderly behavior could be painkillers.
None of his recent appearances to retired fighters, commentators, and even random celebrities had anything to do with future fights, and that doesn’t explain the many arrests and problems outside the Octagon even before his last injury.
McGregor, now 33, has stopped in three of his last four fights and has won just one in almost five years.
