WWE is making a big change to its NXT brand, and it seems like it’s just getting started. Vince McMahon wants to return to NXT as a thriving brand as it was the third brand for a company known for its Superstars.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said McMahon has a lot of conflicting ideas in his ear. Now he’s back to pre-AEW or even real ROH competition in the professional wrestling arena. He wants to see NXT as a brand with people making it the main event of WrestleMania, just as Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins are in the black and gold brands.
Apparently, the ongoing struggle in favor of Vince McMahon continues, and behind the scenes there are a variety of ideas that are drawing the chairman’s attention.
“You know, the use of force is a weird word. There are different opinions among the mainstream about the fight, and they’re fighting for Vince’s ear, and Vince is the man he’s listening to this week.”
Apparently, WWE is returning NXT to a brand that has big and young guys. The given words are “no more midges, no one from the age of 30. They want people who can be box office attractions and protagonists.
In the coming weeks, the WWE could significantly reduce NXT. Triple H and Shawn Michaels have nothing to do with these releases, so they can only see the change in their brands before their eyes.
