Chris Jericho is a veteran of the professional wrestling world who has competed in competitions around the world for the past thirty years. He is also proud to have worked at AEW and is not afraid to show it. Because he’s an veteran at work, it doesn’t matter much what those who hate him say.
Following the huge success of the AEW All Out, Chris Jericho announced that the game had changed after the AEW All Out. Earlier, Jericho had also predicted that AEW Dynamite would lose in the RAW rankings on Monday night in the next 4-6 months.
Jericho’s prediction came true as AEW Dynamite beat RAW Monday night in an 18 to 49 demographic, giving them a .53 rating.
When talking to Jen met Eckhart again, Chris Jericho spoke about AEW’s significant growth over the past two years and explained why AEW Dynamite beat RAW in demo numbers on Monday night.
We did more demos than WWE RAW, which is a flagship show. I think our company didn’t come up with anything and exploded because of a completely different attitude, and you can see that when you watch our shows. When we did the 20,000-strong show in Arthur Ash in New York City, you were there, it’s basically the backyard of WWE. So to attract the crowd and meet us, I think we are the most passionate fighting company in the world, and most importantly, we have a great factor.
“When you have a great factor in any form of show business, whether it’s wrestling, music, or television, people quickly jump here because they want to know what everyone is talking about here. what is it all about? AEW has it. We’ve changed the industry by focusing on things that are different from our existence and other wrestling companies, and I think that’s where our fan base has become.
We have to wait for the day to come when AEW Dynamite will consistently beat WWE shows in the rankings, because Jim Cornet thinks it will happen in the end.
