Chilling details emerge as missing mom and her newborn baby found dead

A MISSING mother and her newborn baby were found dead inside a home following a chilling 911 call, on Wednesday.

A man is in custody after the harrowing discovery as the woman was identified as Clarissa Michelle Winchester, 22.

Her newborn baby was identified as a boy, said the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina.

A 911 call was made on Wednesday night reporting a missing woman, said deputies, who were led to a home on Saw Mill Road at 8.30pm.

Winchester and the infant here found inside the home.

Tyler Wilkins, 21, has been charged with murder, kidnapping, and unlawful neglect of a child.

Investigators said he failed to get medical attention for the baby.

According to a background check from the State Law Enforcement Division, Wilkins has had previous arrests for drug possession, domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, threatening the life of an official, and throwing bodily fluids.

The investigation is still ongoing by the sheriff’s office and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
