Chemical leaks at Six Flags water park in Texas affect dozens of people, HAZMAT team says

At least 34 people were neutralized by a service team as a result of a chemical leak at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Springstown, Texas, on Saturday, according to local authorities.

According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, the victims were “experiencing minor skin and / or respiratory irritation.” Officials said the chemical leak was for one of the attractions around the city.

Spring Fire Dertment confirmed that officials were reacting to the incident and called on the public to stay away from the rk.

“In the spring, several fire crews are providing emergency assistance to dozens of people affected by a chemical leak at a six-flag storm port in the spring,” Dertment said. “Please avoid this area.”

Authorities are monitoring air and water conditions in the country and are working to identify the chemicals that caused the problem. The cause of the leak is not yet clear.

Acesparks contacted six flags, but did not immediately hear the news.
