It was a photo finish for Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith’s race Tuesday night.

Barkley appeared to touch the board a millisecond before Smith, and NBA Twitter went wild. The “NBA on TNT” Twitter account conducted a poll to determine the winner, in which voters declared Barkley victorious by a landslide.

“YES !!! CHUCK WON, ”Lakers star LeBron James tweeted, adding a No. 1 ribbon emoji. “Let’s go Chuck,” he wrote in a second tweet, with a bunch of crying-laughing emojis.

NBA legend Bill Russell tweeted a smiling photo of himself, while holding a thumbs-up, and announced his winner.

“Tie goes to the Chuckster,” Russell tweeted. “I Guarantee it @NBAonTNT sorry @TheJetOnTNT.”
