The Cardinals ’Buddha Baker Rams was out of the field after a clash with Kem Akers.

As the Cardinals beat hosts Rams 28-8 in the third quarter of the NFC wild-card game, Akers put his shoulder to Baker’s head to finish an 11-yard run to the Arizona 5-yard line. The Cardinals were upset with Akers, who played in the second game of the year after returning from a torn Achilles, as he seemed to be signaling to Baker to “be low” as he returned to training. Akers later knelt down while caring for Baker and expressed concern for the four-time Pro Bowler.

David Edwards brought the ball back to the Arizona 15-yard line and eventually led the Rams to a goal on the field, with David Edwards ’aggressive call missing due to injury.
