John Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and has since become one of the company’s mainstays. He also believes that AEW will have more fans because of its diverse product. Apparently, Bully Ray also has a unique idea about the imminent return of John Moxley.
John Mossley’s body has worn out a lot over the years of participating in various violent games. This led to the development of his drug abuse problems and he underwent rehabilitation for alcoholism.
After almost three months away from the square circle, the former AEW world champion returned this week in the AEW Dynamite episode. Moxley cut out a passionate ad, where he talked about defeating his demons and urging fans to do the same.
Speaking Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Fame Bully Ray spoke about John Mossley’s return promotion. Bully Ray insisted he should have apologized for offending fans during the Moxley promo.
“I liked that they started with Moxley. They came out with a bang, people were ready for it, and Moxley said what to say. However, I wanted to hear a little responsibility from John. I understand everything about demons and we always use the word demons as a creative word to solve real problems. Whether it’s an alcohol problem, a drug problem. Tommida [Dreamer’s] If this is a nutrition problem. Everyone has some kind of demon, they have to go around.
We have demons. These demons got their best during the time John had to move away from the AEW. I would have heard him apologize a bit to AEW fans. Even if the boys trust you, you don’t have to apologize to the boys, but any of these guys and girls can have problems like you. And believe me, I came at a time when many men and women were demons.
Fans expect a little more from you. As for the fans who bought tickets to see AEW and John Mossley while John was dealing with his problems, I’m so glad he left and solved his problem. Yesterday she looked incredibly healthy. And I love everything he says. I would have heard a little about responsibility. I’m sorry, I don’t know if it’s the right word, of course, but if you feel like you’re depressing them, love yourself a little. It comes from me, the hard ass of all hard asses.
Personally, when I was in a similar situation, the first thing I would say was “guys, I’m sorry if I offended you” … I think that would be the right thing to do.
John Moxley will fight the assassination on January 23 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where he will defend the GCW World Cup. We have to wait and see what the AEW has in store for John Moxley as he returns.
