We have lists for WWE wrestlers on the Internet and on television that don’t always reflect what’s going on behind the scenes. The people in charge of advertising keep their own internal lists so they know who is ready for which show. Brock Lesnar recently participated in the SmackDown program with Roman Reigns, but everything has changed.
Lesnar moved from his canceled game against Roman Reigns to the WWE Championship game on New Year’s Day in a premium live event. He surprised everyone when he defeated Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley to win the championship. The WWE Championship is the main world title under the red brand.
Apparently, the internal lists have changed. According to Mike Johnson, Brock was transferred to Raw’s side for that purpose PW Insider. He still appears on both shows on the move and is presented as a free agent.
Acesparks News exclusively reported that Lesnar will stay on both shows. WrestleMania’s plans for the game with Roman Reigns have not changed. If anything, the company believes the champion and champion game is an improvement.
It is unknown how WWE will decide the titles on the WrestleMania show. It could be a reunion game. They can also do this in addition to the title.
WWE was forced to make some drastic changes to the 1st day event. That doesn’t mean WrestleMania won’t go as planned. For now, fans will get not only the match between the champion and the champion, but also the long-awaited brawl between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. In this case, everyone wins.
