Triple H is truly a veteran of the professional wrestling world and one of the most important figures in the company’s history, one of the mainstays of the relationship era. His career has captured several World titles and memorable moments over the years. Apparently, Booker T has a higher opinion of Triple H compared to CM Punk.
Triple H is also famous for burying professional wrestlers, and there are many instances of this, even in its DX days. He is said to have refused to put D’Lo Brown even during an important brawl.
During last week’s AEW Dynamite episode, CM Punk and MJF talked about Triple H for brutally distributing MJF during a fierce promo fight. Apparently, Booker T didn’t take it very well.
Speaking of which Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T referred to CM Punk’s attack on Triple H. Booker T said Triple H was a bigger star than CM Punk even before he married Stephanie McMahon in 2003.
“It amazed me that I have been working with Hunter since the days of WCW. Hunter Stephanie was a bigger star than CM Punk before she married McMahon, and that’s just an undeniable fact. To be a bigger star after that, of course, she wanted to be a bigger star after she married Stephanie because she was in the family now. Look, if CM Punk had married Stephanie McMahon, she could have become a bigger star as well.
However, CM Punk was a big star at WWE and they treated him like a big star at WWE. I don’t understand how or why anyone would think CM Punk wasn’t treated like a mega star.
There is no denying that Triple H will forever be a legend in the world of professional wrestling, especially because of his contribution to the business.
