Carmella will compete against Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown program’s SmackDown Women’s Championship on July 23 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Belair retained the championship title against Carmella in a game announced six days before its show on SmackDown this week. After this episode, Carmella complained on Twitter that she needed more time to prepare for the much-ridden game.
The SmackDown post-show, Talking Smack, interviewed Belair on stage, who agreed to an immediate rematch against Carmella:
“A typical Carmella like you [interviewer Kayla Braxton] said, ”said Belair. “It took him six days to prepare,” he said. People love to chat on Twitter about how not to bother themselves, which is good. He went into the ring with me tonight, so I can say that I am a wrestling champion and I will not back down from anything. Does he want a rematch? We will do it again next week. I’m ready for it. Let’s do it. “
Asked to determine if there would be another fight, Belair confirmed that Carmella was happy with the chance to win another title next week. Moments later, Talking Smack host Kevin Patrick announced that the game had been officially announced.
