On Sunday, Bahia host Flamengo at the Arena Fonte Nova in the Brazilian Serie A, and both sides are off to a good start to the season.
Bahia are currently sixth in the tournament table, with a win on Monday that could lift them to fifth in the league.
Dado Cavalcanti’s side, meanwhile, have suffered defeats in three of their last five league games, allowing for a delay until the evening. If they need to get all three points from Flamengo on Monday, Bahia will have to step up their game.
Flamengo are currently eighth in the league and two points behind Bahia ahead of two games. Renato Gaucho’s side have won their last two games and are looking to extend their winning streak on Sunday.
So far, both teams have had strong campaigns and are confident that this tournament will be an exciting one.
