Arsenal are reportedly ready to meet Temi Abraham’s salary requirements. The Chelsea striker is keen to leave Stamford Bridge after falling behind Timo Werner and Kay Haverts last season.
According to Express, “Arsenal” Tammy is ready to meet Abraham’s £ 125,000-a-week salary requirement. The Gunners are backing themselves to get out of Alexander Lyakazet and have found Ibrahim to be the ideal replacement for the Frenchman.
Arsenal are set to add a striker to their squad this summer to replace Alexandre Lacazette, who has been linked with a move away from the club. Pierre-Emerick Obamayang’s unfortunate form last season also led the London club to prioritize signing the striker.
Ibrahim finished the 2019-20 campaign as Chelsea’s top scorer in the APL, scoring 15 goals in 34 games. The England international has been linked with a move to Chelsea following the arrival of Timo Werner last summer.
Despite being surprised by the opportunity, Ibrahim was often used as a substitute last season. He made 22 appearances in the Premier League and scored six goals. His exclusion from Chelsea in the FA Cup final against Leicester City has led many fans and experts to believe that his career at the club will end this summer.
Temi Abraham has also been linked with West Ham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Tottenham this summer. Now Arsenal have joined the fight to buy the 23-year-old.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Ibrahimovic as they raise money to buy Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Holland. The Blues are looking for a £ 30million salary for Temi Abraham.
