There was no Uber that would drive Antonio Brown out of the MetLife stadium.
Instead, he was a driver for some of the NFL’s biggest stars, who were taken away after failing in a game on Sunday.
The 33-year-old receiver saw the driver in an Instagram story post with NJ driver Danny Chalet smiling in the back of the car. The news came hours after Brown stripped off his shirt during the Tampa Bay victory over the Jets and left the field in a rage. That meant Brown didn’t want to go back to Tampa on the team plane.
Odell Beckham Jr., who has Sakun Barkley, Jamal Adams, Brooks Koepka and others among his clients, posted a photo of himself with Brown on Bloomfield, New Jersey-based Chalet FaceTime.
“If my brother calls me, I’ll be there …” Chalet wrote. “You know how I got here …”
He was then seen in a series of videos with Brown – apparently in New York – including Brown smiling behind the chalet car on his phone.
In his first comments after the incident, Brown posted a photo of himself in a Buccaneers dress on his Instagram account (Big MAD (thanks for the opportunity) thanks).
Buccaneers boss Bruce Arians told Fox Sports reporter Jay Glaser that he refused to play when Brown asked him to play before he left.
His exit from the stadium seems to have ended with his entry into the Chalet’s attraction.
