Antonio Banderas was the latest addition to the cast Indiana Jones Film.
While Banderas’ role is unknown at this time, the actor will join Harrison Ford among other confirmed actors. Fib Waller-bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrooke and Shaunette Renee Wilson.
Earlier this week, a first look Fleabag Waller-bridge star Indiana Jones 5 detected.
The new film, which is currently being shot in Glasgow, will see Waller-Bridge star in an as yet unknown role against Ford. In the backstage photo, the actress is seen in a 1960s vintage jacket and jeans.
Ford was not involved in filming the film as he is currently on hiatus after injuring his shoulder during the shooting.
“Ford suffered a shoulder injury while training on the battlefield,” a Disney said in a statement received by the representative Deadline; expiration date last month.
“Production will continue until the appropriate course of treatment is assessed. In the coming weeks, the photography schedule will be re-arranged as needed.”
Steven Spielberg on board as executive producer of the film; John Williams returns to the Indiana Jones franchise to record the score.
Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are producers Indiana Jones 5, Jonathan Casdan wrote the screenplay.
Discussing the film on Disney Investors Day last year, Kennedy said it would be the “fifth and final” film in the series.
The film was originally scheduled to release in July 2019, but was later postponed to July 10, 2020. It was later moved to July 9, 2021, but should now be released on July 29, 2022.
