Ric Flair made headlines last year when he asked to be released from WWE. Earlier, it was said that Rick Fleur wanted to run in another ring. He made fun of it many times.
Flair also made it clear that he did not ask for his release because of his relationship with WWE. Vice’s “The Dark Side of the Ring” focused on “Flying Plane from Hell,” which eventually led everyone to try to cancel Ric Flair as well.
As many fans know, Andrade El Idolo is Rick Fleur’s son-in-law and because of this attitude, many fans have wondered whether Rick Flair will go to the AEW to help Andrade.
Andrade recently appeared at Darby Allin’s AEW New Year’s Bash game and stared at Allin. Andrade recently took to Twitter to say he “has a lot of friends in the business, but only one father-in-law.”
Ric Flair had also previously ridiculed the possibility of joining the AEW. We have to wait and see if it makes its way to the AEW.
