Comedian Kathy Griffin told him she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
The American stand-up comedian said this in a statement on Instagram and said he would soon undergo surgery to remove part of his lung.

“Yes, I’ve had lung cancer even though I’ve never smoked! Doctors are very optimistic because it’s in the first stage and it’s in my left lung.”
He continued: “I hope there will be no chemotherapy or radiation after this and I will be able to work normally with my breathing. I should be able to run for a month or so as usual.
“It’s been fun and funny for me for 4 years, I’ve been trying to get back to work, but I’ll be fine.”
Kathy Griffin said she was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and urged her followers to say “the consequences of not being vaccinated would be more serious.”
“Please be aware of the medical examination,” he concluded. “It will save your life.”
In 2017, Griffin clashed with former POTUS Donald Trump he shared a photo of himself holding a fake bloody head that looked like Trump.
At the time, he apologized for the video, saying, “I see the reaction to these images now. I’m a comic, I crossed the line. I moved the line and then crossed it. I went too far.
“The picture is very annoying. I understand how it affects people. It wasn’t funny, I understood. I apologize to you.”
