The next AEW Dynamite will be the go-home edition before this Sunday’s AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV. As AEW gets set to square off against NJPW’s best, the final Dynamite looks to be stacked with matches and a possible explanation from a wrestler who recently betrayed his partner. Interestingly enough, it appears fans will hear from a fan favorite who’s been in the news for having an injury.

AEW has revealed that Toni Storm will compete against Marina Shafir in a singles match and that fans will hear from Christian following his vicious attack on Jungle Boy last Wednesday. Storm thwarted an attack by Shafir on AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa and is looking to settle the score.

AEW is also promoting Bryan Danielson as he set to speak on Forbidden Door and Blood and Guts. William Regal announced a Blood and Guts sequel featuring The Blackpool Combat Club and Chris Jericho’s stable, The Jericho Appreciation Society. Danielson has been in the news lately for sustaining an undisclosed injury following Double or Nothing. A recent update suggests Danielson may not be cleared to wrestle for quite some time.

There is currently no word on whether AEW will announce more matches for this Sunday’s PPV. Jay White’s challenger for his IWGP Heavyweight Championship has yet to be confirmed, and there is still no sign of MJF. Whatever the case, this week’s Dynamite will hopefully answer many questions. The lineup for the show now is as follows:

  • Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Jon Moxley Lance Archer & Chris Jericho
  • Will Ospreay & Aussie Open vs. Orange Cassidy & Roppongi Vice
  • Bryan Danielson to speak on Forbidden Door, Blood and Guts events
  • AEW All-Atlantic Championship qualifying match: Penta Oscuro vs. Malakai Black
  • Christian Cage will speak
  • VfL Bochum vs. 1. FC Union Berlin Marina Shafir

What do you make of the lineup for this week’s Dynamite, and do you think more matches for this Sunday’s PPV will be announced? Sound off in the comments section below.
