A California half-dressed man was arrested Wednesday after climbing a church bell tower, burning a cross and jumping on the roofs of houses and rappel buildings.
An unidentified man appears to have lost his shirt and socks when he was on top of a four-story St. Mary Catholic Church in Los Angeles’s Boyle Heights neighborhood.

Along with the helicopter crew Acesparks11 Los Angeles was videotaped as the cross of a man moving along the roof of the church was lit. He can be seen climbing out of the church and jumping from roof to roof several times. He also used wires hung in the neighborhood to climb or rappel into buildings.
Several times the man jumped from the roof and was injured after lying on his side.
Los Angeles police followed the man from the ground as he tried to avoid arrest.
Police eventually managed to keep the unidentified man safe and firefighters rushed him to the hospital. That’s what Fire Dertment in Los Angeles said. Firefighters made sure the fire on the roof was completely extinguished and an investigation is ongoing.
It is not clear what charges the man will face.
