THE GOAL: Ronnie Jackson, a former White House physician for Donald Trump and a Republican from Texas, called on Democrats to meet previous demands on the president’s cognitive ability and evaluate President Joe Biden.
After speculation about his mental ability a year before Trump became president, he agreed to take an exam to imitate the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) – a 30-point test.
“The extreme left and the mainstream media have demanded a new standard for everyone who runs our country and will be our Commander-in-Chief and head of state,” Jackson said in an interview with Acesparks on Saturday. “I want to say I agree with them now – we need to do that.”
DR. RONNY JACKSON claims to have passed a well-known test to immediately assess “mental changes.”
Jackson, who took the test for Trump, explained that the exam is not an IQ test, but a standard test for age-related problems, including dementia and cognitive decline.
The White House said last month that Biden was scheduled to take a physical exam “at the end of this year” – if held until next year, it would be completed sooner than his predecessor’s health exams.
Both Trump and Barack Obama passed their exams at the Oval Office early in their second year.
But Jackson said the White House did not say the cognitive exam would be included during the president’s health check.
A Texas Republican freshman noted that Trump has set a new precedent on the president’s morale – an opinion expressed at the same time by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In October 2020, Pelosi introduced a bill that would set up a joint commission of health advisers to assess the president’s ability to serve in the highest office in the United States.
“This law applies to future presidents, but we are reminded of the need to act with the health of the incumbent president,” he told reporters last year. “It’s not about us judging the president’s well-being.”
Republicans have said they have common problems when it comes to Biden.

“I think it’s showing that something is happening every day,” Jackson told Acesparks. He added: “You don’t have to be a doctor to review this behavior and see if there’s anything going on.”
Jackson pointed to an increase in cases where the president appears “confused”.
“You can go back – this guy has a forty-year-old tape – he’s always made gaffes and things, but these are different, he’s confused, he’s broken his direction,” the Texas congressman continued.
“We all know people who are 100 years old, mostly sharp like tack, and we know people who are over 60, there are some cognitive challenges … and I think it’s at the end of the spectrum.
“Now it’s not just elegant aging,” Jackson added.
“I’m just asking them to include a knowledge assessment when you take a physics exam,” he said. “I think a standard precedent has been set and they should follow suit.”
Acesparks could not immediately reach the White House for comment.
