Florida police have released a body-camera video of a shooting involving an officer who was killed over the weekend, in which a man showed a gun to an officer before firing.
The incident happened after 10pm on Sunday, when Tam police responded to a call about a fight near the 3700th Street on Temple Street, where a man was armed. Full Police Dertment he said.

Officer Bryan Velazkes, 33, shot and killed Junior John Ruben Turben when Turbe raised his gun at the officer while chasing his legs, police said. Turbe, 40, died at the hospital.
Full police released video footage of about two minutes from the start of the shooting.

In the video, Velazkes stops at a gas station and asks an employee to ask and describe where the suspect went. Velazkes then leaves the store and sees a man armed with a gun as he walks through the ring area.
“Hey, put down the gun,” Velazkes yells. “Stop! Stop!”
The officer can be seen pulling and chasing the service gun as the suspect runs.
“They’ll shoot you,” Velazkes said as he reached Turba. “Put down the gun now!”
Turbe looks back and seems to be moving towards the officer with a gun in one hand next to him. He then appears to have raised the weapon to Velazquez, who repeatedly orders him to drop the weapon.
The video freezes and four bullets are heard. Velazquez can then be heard calling for a backup, as Turba deleted a video of another officer squeezing his chest, where he bled.
Police said no one else was injured in the shooting. Velazkes, who police said In 2019, he worked in the Tam Police Department and had previous experience in law enforcement, taking an administrative leave.
Police have not yet announced the reasons for the scandal that sparked a police response.
The shooting is under investigation.
