5 things WWE SmackDown got in front of the money at the Bank: Roman Reigns taps; Finn Balor returns

This week’s WWE SmackDown episode was very special as the company performed its first live event in front of a full-fledged crowd after the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also the home edition of SmackDown before the appearance of “Money in the Bank”.

Vince McMahon presented a short and catchy promotional campaign to attract fans before he went into the ring. Edge SmackDown joined the Tag Team Champions to host Roman Reigns and The Usos in the first game of the night.

Bianca Belair defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella to celebrate another great moment on her main roster. During the night, in addition to the Fatal 4-Way main meeting, several other major games and segments took place, which completed the work at a high level.

Take a look at the five things WWE got in front of the money at the Bank on SmackDown.

# 5 Edge forced Roman rule to work at WWE SmackDown

After Mr. McMahon fantasized about the WWE Universe, WWE SmackDown’s biggest star came out to start the show. Roman Ryan got into a thunderous reaction from the fans. He was joined by The Usos and Paul Heyman for a six-man team game.

Along with Edge Ray and Dominic Mysterio, he came out alongside the WWE Universe’s terrific applause. It was very clear which SmackDown audience would support in the competition.

Both teams started a good exchange before wearing Usos. Dominic became a weak link in babyface camp as the Head of the Table easily targeted him.

Edge got into a match and unloaded everyone before Reigns was stabbed to the ground. In the ring, Jimmy’s cheap shot allowed Jay to secure a victory that contaminated Ray.

After the match, the Usos defeated The Mysterios and managed to save the Ultimate Opportunist with a steel chair. The rulers returned to continue the fight against their rival in the bank, but soon fell victim to the Spear.

Rated R Superstar took the opportunity to use a piece of iron chair to lock Reigns in a collision and send him out.

The match went well and gave the fans something to cheer them up immediately. Most dominance shouldn’t have worked at SmackDown. However, the end of the segment indicates that the beginning of the Table will save Sunday, and that is the right call.
